Are you ready to embark on a stimulating new role as a Team Manager in Adult Social Care? This is a full-time locum opportunity for three months in Middlesbrough, earning £28.25 hourly. What you will do:

  • Lead and manage the Learning Disabilities Team, Mental Health Team, Older Persons Mental Health Team, Forensic Learning Disability Team, and the Estates Team.
  • Maintain high professional standards and promote best practices, creating a clear vision for social care services while inspiring your colleagues.
  • Ensure a person-centred, strength-based, and risk-appropriate approach is taken in all decision-making processes.
  • Bring together various teams to work seamlessly with partner agencies, focusing on carers.
  • Oversee and uphold statutory policies, legislation, and procedural guidance ensuring compliance and excellence in service delivery.
  • Provide management cover during colleague absences, offering advice and making key decisions as required.
  • Encourage development and support the team managers with staffing, health and safety, and best practice initiatives.
  • Foster partnerships with agencies like NHS Trusts and local authorities, enhancing the service user experience and outcomes.
