Teaching Assistant – Middlesbrough Primary Schools

Location:

Middlesbrough, Teesside
Pay: £101.40 – £105 per week

Hours:

Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm

Milk Education are seeking motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support a network of friendly and inclusive Primary Schools across Middlesbrough.

This opportunity offers the chance to work in nurturing school settings that prioritise pupil progress, wellbeing, and equality. Whether you are an experienced TA or developing your career within education, you will be supported to make a real difference in the classroom.

As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Encouraging an inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued

• Leading targeted small-group and one-to-one intervention sessions

• Providing tailored academic and pastoral support to pupils

• Collaborating with teachers to prepare and adapt learning resources

• Contributing to a safe, positive and stimulating classroom atmosphere

• Recent experience working within an educational setting

• Confident numeracy and literacy skills

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB) or equivalent experience

• Ability to follow direction and work effectively as part of a classroom team
