Project Manager – Groundworks & Civil Engineering

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a large-scale groundworks and civil engineering scheme based in Middlesbrough. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a driven individual to join a well-established contractor on a major project starting immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

* Full project management of a large-scale groundworks/civils package

* Managing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers

* Overseeing programme delivery, budgets, and quality standards

* Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with HSEQ requirements

* Liaising with clients, engineers, and senior management

* Reporting progress and managing risks and variations

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Project Manager within groundworks and civil engineering

* Strong knowledge of bulk earthworks, drainage, roads, and associated civils works

* SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid

* Strong leadership and organisational skills

* Ability to manage large teams and complex programmes

* Full UK driving licence
