Office Administrator/ Coordinator

We’re looking for someone who is confident in using computers, as the postholder will use multiple web-based systems for recording client interactions and generating prescriptions, particularly in Excel and Google Sheets. The successful applicant will also have the experience or confidence to work on a public‑facing front desk, interacting with clients daily. These interactions can be challenging but rewarding, as you will see progress in their recovery journey first hand.
As part of this role, you will:
- Proactively support the smooth running of the administrative functions within the service
- Welcome clients to our service
- Maintain and create record‑keeping systems as required
- Receive and process referrals, screening, triage and comprehensive assessments, inputting NDTMS/demographic and personal details into computerised systems
- Support the service in meeting local health and safety requirements
- Generate prescriptions in preparation for signing by relevant clinicians
- Support the management team in maintaining high levels of data quality and information management
- Assist the wider team with commitments, including organising diaries, allocating, arranging, cancelling and rebooking meetings and events
- Take, transcribe and distribute formal minutes for meetings
This is a permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications- Demonstrable experience working in an office environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team and/or independently
- Successful track record of providing efficient and reliable administrative support
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent IT skills, including Google and Microsoft packages and digital media

We are the lead provider of THRIVE, an Integrated Domestic Abuse and Substance Use partnership, working alongside Harbour, Intuitive Thinking Skills and the Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council.
