Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Middlebury, Vermont.

- Minimum 2 years ED experience required
- At least 1 completed travel contract required
- Charge nurse experience required
- Recent EPIC experience (within past 2 years) – non-negotiable
- Teaching hospital experience:
Preferred
- Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- ENPC
- NRP
- NIHSS (must be completed prior to start)
- TNCC (or proof of class with application date in packet)
- Shifts:
7a–7p; 11a–11p; 3p–3a; 7p–7a - Weekends:
Minimum every other - Holidays:
Required (flexible scheduling expected) - No block schedules permitted
- Scheduling System:
When to Work - Orientation:
Bi-weekly on Mondays (next available: 2/16)
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
- ED Beds: 10–14
- Staffing per Shift: 3–4 RNs
- 1 ED Tech (24/7)
- 1 Unit Clerk
- Charge Nurse assigned 24/7
- Providers: 1 MD on site 24/7
- PA/NP: 0930–2130
- Age Range:
Newborn to Geriatric (0–100+) - ESI Triage Scale utilized
- EMR:
Epic - Medication System:
Pyxis - Equipment:
Alaris IV Pumps - Philips Monitors
- Ranger Blood Warmer
- LIFLITE transport services
- IV insertion and venipuncture
- Drips and infusions
- EKGs
- Restraint application
- Procedural sedation
- Ambulance transports (RN may accompany)
- Telemedicine and Telestroke via UVMMC
- No interventional radiology or cath lab
- STEMI, Stroke, Trauma, and higher-acuity pediatric cases transferred out
- Floating: no floating required
