Unit description: We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-centered Registered Nurse (RN) to join our OB/GYN team. This role supports a dynamic and collaborative practice dedicated to providing exceptional care across the full spectrum of women’s health, including gynecological services, prenatal care, and ambulatory obstetrics. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical skills, a passion for women’s health, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an OB/GYN outpatient setting.
  • Support providers during examinations, procedures, and in office treatments.
  • Perform patient triage, obtain medical histories, administer medications, and conduct patient education.
  • Assist with prenatal monitoring and postpartum support.
  • Manage order sets, care coordination, and follow-up communication with patients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Collaborate with providers, medical assistants, administrative staff, and care coordinators to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, infection control standards, and organizational policies.
Job Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Vermont (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Previous experience in women’s health, OB/GYN, labor & delivery, or related specialty preferred but not required.
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain flexible in a busy clinical setting.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and a supportive team culture.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
  • Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.
