The opportunity to rotate through different ERs will advance your adaptability, exposure to multiple electronic health record platforms, and familiarity with a range of protocols, all while you enjoy the region’s unique seasons, farm-to-table cuisine, and easy access to outdoor recreation.
- Key responsibilities include performing rapid triage and initial stabilization, airway management and ventilator support as needed, initiating IV access, administering trauma and emergency medications, and monitoring evolving patient status in real time. You’ll interpret monitors, collaborate with physicians and allied staff, document accurately in the charting system, and educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans. You’ll participate in debriefings, quality improvement initiatives, and evidence-based practice changes that elevate care in urgent settings.
