• Key responsibilities include performing rapid triage and initial stabilization, airway management and ventilator support as needed, initiating IV access, administering trauma and emergency medications, and monitoring evolving patient status in real time. You’ll interpret monitors, collaborate with physicians and allied staff, document accurately in the charting system, and educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans. You’ll participate in debriefings, quality improvement initiatives, and evidence-based practice changes that elevate care in urgent settings.
• This role emphasizes growth within the ER specialty: you’ll gain exposure to diverse presenting problems, enhance critical thinking under pressure, broaden command of life-saving procedures, and develop leadership skills through mentoring newer teammates and precepting students or travelers.
