An award-winning acute care hospital located in central Vermont is now searching for an experienced Operating Room Nurse Educator to join their accredited healthcare team.

Reporting to the Director of Education, the Operating Room Nurse Educator will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive clinical education program within the surgical service line. The Nurse Educator will work with the perioperative nursing leadership teams to ensure educational and training coverage for the pre‑admission, operating room, and post‑operative care teams. Other responsibilities include program development and management, analyses of staff competencies, communicating with multiple care teams, and promoting evidence based practices.
This department currently operates 5 state‑of‑the‑art operating rooms.
What’s Needed to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing BSN
- Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Vermont
- Expert knowledge of surgical nursing and educational program development
