Overview

As one of two Regional Program Coordinators for the Regional Partnership Program (RPP), this role is at the heart of a statewide effort to strengthen families and protect children across Vermont. This role supports the southern region of Vermont and supports case managers working in Rutland, Brattleboro, Bennington, Middlebury, Springfield, and Hartford DCF district offices.

The coordinator supports a team of RPP Case Managers through thoughtful coaching, onboarding, and professional development—cultivating a team culture grounded in compassion, accountability, and continuous learning. This role s leadership ensures that staff feel supported, equipped, and inspired to do their best work.

This work is deeply collaborative, as the coordinator serves as a key connector between Lund, the Department for Children and Families (DCF), the Division of Substance Use (DSU), and community treatment partners. This role provides consultation to DCF partners, helping them understand how substance use affects family systems and child safety—and how coordinated support can change trajectories.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, supervise, and evaluate RPP Case Managers serving DCF districts within the assigned geographic region.
  • Provide program oversight and ensure grant compliance, including accurate and timely documentation by staff within the region.
  • Oversee Quality Assurance of client records with the assigned region, including compliance with federal confidentiality regulations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Lund RPP and assigned DCF district offices.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director of Community Treatment to support accurate and timely grant reporting, including submission of draft reports as requested.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-a-week, and benefit-eligible position. The working location is a balance between working from the district offices and from home. This position requires regular travel to support case managers in the assigned districts, meeting with community providers, and conducting substance use screenings as needed for individuals referred by DCF. Screenings are conducted in homes, DCF offices, and other community locations.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000.

What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, clinical mental health and substance use counseling or related field
  • AAP required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience providing direct service required
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience required
  • Strong desire and ability to work with the identified population, especially substance abusing pregnant and parenting women and effectively communicate and collaborate with interagency programs and community partners

The successful completion of a background check and motor vehicle record check is a condition of employment.
