Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical, A/C, etc.)
  • Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools/special equipment to troubleshoot issues
  • Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding needed repairs and timelines
  • Provide accurate estimates for additional work
  • Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Service Technician experience (preferred)
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Ford Certification (preferred)
  • Prior Ford dealership experience a plus
  • Luxury vehicle experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with eagerness to learn
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
