Med-Surg RN – Straight Nights
Shift & Schedule- 3 x 12.5-hour shifts
- Straight Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend and holidays
- On-call per unit needs
- Must arrive within 1 hour if called in
- Minimum 2 years Med-Surg experience
- Minimum 1 year travel experience
- High acuity unit
- Mentor/charge experience required
- Unencumbered OH RN License
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- 90% Med-Surg patients
- Low volume oncology patients
- Oncology patients cared for by core staff (not travelers)
- Strong clinical knowledge in assessment, medication administration, wound care
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple patients in fast-paced setting
- Critical thinking and problem-solving
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach
