Job SummaryThe Facilities Manager, Corporate Real Estate is responsible for all aspects of facility, asset and relationship management for a portfolio of properties. Ensuring operations, maintenance and vendor management standards are met in a cost effective and efficient manner, and aligned with sustainability goals. Direct accountability for overall property operations, cosmetic appearance (internal and external), technical oversight and fiscal management by driving the decision-making process.
Establish a strategic forecast for operating and capital improvement budgets for each property within the portfolio. Oversee third-party service providers responsible for preventive maintenance and reactive work order completion.
- Management of all property operations, performance and service delivery.
- Leadership of third-party service providers to ensure all preventive and corrective maintenance is performed in an effective and efficient manner.
- Development of an annual capital improvement budget to maintain the value and appearance of each property.
- Development and management of an annual operating expense budget for each property.
- Updates all RES database systems in a timely manner.
- Development of short- and long-term strategies to minimize deferred maintenance.
- Development, implementation and management of quality programs that support sustainability and continuous improvement in the management and operations of all properties.
- Management and execution of assigned capital improvement projects within a portfolio of properties.
- Management of established company benchmarks including, but not limited to: cost/square foot, customer satisfaction, utility consumption, business interruption.
- Management of Line of Business relationships to understand and provide solutions for business needs.
- Management of internal and external strategic partner relationships.
- Drive strategic sustainability culture.
- Occasionally works nights and weekends with 24/7 availability.
- Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice
- Complies with all Key Bank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Facilities Management, Real Estate Management or related field, or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Master's Degree (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years experience in Real Estate/Facilities Management (required)
- Financial services and/or retail organization experience (preferred)
- Professional Designation (RPA, FMA, CPM, CFM) (preferred)
- Understands how facilities operations impact the broader business, including cost control, risk management, and customer experience.
- Builds and maintains strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to ensure seamless operations.
- Possesses knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), maintenance protocols, and facility management software to ensure operational efficiency.
- Prioritizes the needs of internal clients and building occupants, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment that supports productivity.
- Takes initiative and responds quickly to issues, demonstrating a hands-on approach to problem-solving and service delivery.
- Diagnoses facility-related issues and implements effective solutions, often under time constraints or with limited resources.
- Effectively negotiate contracts and service agreements with vendors to ensure value and accountability.
- Takes ownership of property performance, ensuring compliance with standards, timelines, and budgets.
- Utilizes facility management systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to track work orders, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Effectively manages competing demands, ensuring that critical tasks are addressed promptly while maintaining long-term planning.

- Ability to occasionally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license.
- Person in the role may be in the field multiple days per week and may visit multiple locations per day.
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000.00 - $ annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
