Quality Technician/ Inspector, Quality Control / Manager
We are seeking a Technical Inspector to ensure finished goods meet internal quality standards and customer expectations prior to shipment. The primary role of the Technical Inspector is to view the product through the lens of our customer. Our goal is first time installation success at the customer’s site, and the Technical Inspector ensures our achievement.
Salary: $58,000 - $87,000 per year

- Conduct inspections on capital equipment which includes thoroughly running and operating finished goods to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Evaluate the performance of capital equipment and provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades to the engineering team as necessary
- Aid engineering by troubleshooting PLC and HMI programming as needed
- Record and analyze test results, compiling data for stakeholders to review
- Develop and implement inspection procedures and protocols to maintain consistency and efficiency in the inspection process
- Collaborate with other departments or external stakeholders to provide technical expertise and support for projects, initiatives, or regulatory compliance requirements
- Complete inspection of components as needed to determine a conformance/non-conformance status
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior inspectors or other team members, as needed
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate results
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical inspection role
- Experience servicing capital equipment strongly preferred
- Programming knowledge and debugging abilities is ideal
- Proficiency in using technology such as computers, software, and measuring equipment
- Working in a smoke free environment
