Community Residence Counselor

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.
• No experience required; one year of patient care or related experience preferred, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
• Driver's license (MA, CT, NH, NY, RI, VT) preferred (varies by program), with the ability to meet hospital driving standards.
• Must complete electronic medical records training and demonstrate 80% accuracy on competency test within 30 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills required for using electronic or online systems for communication, clinical, and administrative purposes.
• If applicable, must have Medication Administration Program Certification or successfully complete the hospital's certification course.
• Employees hired after 5/24/2019 must pass color blind testing if required by the role.
• Must remain alert and awake during all shifts.
