TITLE: Driver

REPORTS TO: Logistics Manager

STATUS: Full Time/Hourly Non-Exempt (40 hrs./week; additional hours as needed to support organization and individual goals)

To operate over-the-road company vehicles finished goods and correspondence to customers and to bring back returns.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Motor coordination, manual and finger dexterity
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• DOT-Medical Examiner’s Certificate
• Industrial Truck License
• Knowledge of Electronic Log Systems

• Defensive Driving Training/Course

• Loads truck with materials and unloads truck using a forklift or overhead crane.
• Operates company vehicles, according to state laws. Transports load over required route to proper destination, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ensuring Doc-loks or rear wheels are chocked of truck before unloading takes place. Remove chocks before driving away from shipping dock.
• Obtains shipping bills of lading and necessary signatures and returns completed paperwork to shipping manager. Maintains any related records required.
• Removed empty skids from truck and carries to designated storage area.
• Performs miscellaneous service duties such as checking on daily basis: oil water, diesel, and air in tires.
• Follows all TS and/or IATF
  16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 policies and procedures.
• Work with JJ Keller and Logistics Manager to fix any log issues.
