CDL A Truck Driver

This is an on-site, local, full-time position for a CDL A Truck Driver located in Mayville, MI. The role involves transporting liquid calcium chloride safely and efficiently from our plants in Mayville and Millington, Michigan, to businesses and customers, as well as applying it directly to gravel roads primarily in the thumb area. It also involves performing vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness, maintaining accurate delivery logs, and adhering to all transportation regulations.

Drivers will also be responsible for communicating with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth operations.

• A valid CDL A license, including tank endorsement, with a clean driving record
• Experience in truck driving with a 10 or 13-speed manual transmission, route planning, and logistics
• Ability to enter/travel through Canada
• Knowledge of safety protocols, vehicle inspections, and compliance with transportation regulations
• Good communication and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines
• Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance is a plus
