TITLE OF POSITION: Speech and Language Pathologist
2 days per week
1 day at Learn and Grow Preschool
1 day at Alamo Elementary
STARTING DATE: School Year
CLOSING DATE: Until Closed
Otsego Public Schools’ staff is the heart of the district, and we are looking to add a Speech and Language Pathologist to our elementary staff.
ResponsibilitiesPrimary tasks (non-exhaustive list):
- Help students to master communication and/or assistive devices, equipment or instructional materials not assigned by the teacher.
- Serve as a resource to school staff members in the development of a balanced program for speech and language impairments.
- Provide a thorough assessment and diagnosis of speech, voice, hearing and language impairments.
- Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology; CCC Required. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable
- Experience in the elementary school setting preferred
