JOB SUMMARY
Department: Buildings & Grounds
Job Status: Full-Time
2026 Rate of Pay: $
Assist in maintaining county owned buildings, grounds, and equipment to preserve the buildings and to provide a safe and healthy environment for employees and clients.
ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to read and follow instructions to operate equipment
- Considerable knowledge of electrical, plumbing, heating, and/or air conditioning equipment preferred
- 5 years’ experience in the HVAC and plumbing field
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, access to dependable transportation
- Universal CFC Certificate

High school graduate or GED.
Must have valid driver’s license.
Employment is dependent on background check, criminal history, and drug screen. Applicant must complete County application form.

This position reports to the Buildings and Ground’s Director
Ability to lift/carry up to and in excess of 50 lbs. Ability to climb ladders, crawl in small spaces, crouch, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to work outdoors and under somewhat adverse conditions.
