This is a full-time on-site role for a Pipelayer at Rowland Excavating, located in Cedar Springs, MI. The Pipelayer will be responsible for installing, aligning, and maintaining pipes for drainage, sewer, and other infrastructure systems. Daily tasks include assisting in excavation, laying and securing pipes, using equipment, and ensuring worksite safety. Collaboration with team members and adherence to project specifications and timelines are essential to this role.
Qualifications- Proficiency in tasks related to manual labor and excavation work
- Experience in pipe installation and basic knowledge of pipe systems
- Skilled in operating heavy equipment used in site preparation and construction
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors
- Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean job site
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and in physically demanding environments
