Job OverviewNational Sign Erectors is seeking a certified and dependable Crane Operator to join our field operations team. This position is perfect for a skilled professional who's ready to travel and work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. If you have a CDL, fixed cab certification, and a strong commitment to jobsite safety, we want you on our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who's not only great behind the controls but also willing to jump in and support the crew when a crane isn't needed.

Key Responsibilities- Operate cranes (primarily fixed cab) on commercial job sites for sign erection and steel placements
- Maintain safe crane operations in all weather and site conditions
- Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance
- Transport crane equipment as needed (requires CDL)
- Assist field crews with general labor tasks when crane operation is not required
- Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with riggers, foremen, and site supervisors
- Adhere to schedules, deadlines, and travel rotation timelines
- Minimum 2 years of crane operation experience preferred
- Current Fixed Cab Crane Certification required
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) required
- Proven ability to operate cranes safely and efficiently
- Willingness to travel nationally on 10-14 day runs
- Flexibility to assist on-site when crane is not in use
- Strong teamwork ethic and adaptability

Schedule:
10-14 day project runs followed by 4-5 days off
Nationwide job site travel required
Home base determined by project logistics and candidate residence
