Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to provide advanced technical support for our production facility. This role ensures the reliability, performance, and safety of machines, tools, utilities, and facility systems. In addition to performing all core maintenance duties, the Senior Technician serves as a subject-matter expert in electrical systems, automation, and complex troubleshooting - supporting both equipment uptime and the development of the maintenance team.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdvanced Equipment Maintenance & Repair
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems.
- Perform advanced preventative maintenance, installations, upgrades, rebuilds, and retrofits.
- Troubleshoot control systems including PLCs, ladder logic, servo drives, and motion control.
- Maintain facility utilities: electrical, heat, compressed air, and building systems.
Work Orders, Diagnostics & Reliability
- Prioritize and execute complex or recurring work orders.
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend long-term solutions.
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to reduce unplanned downtime.
- Ensure equipment meets operational, safety, and electrical requirements.
Technical Leadership
- Serve as a mentor and technical resource to Maintenance Technicians.
- Provide training on advanced troubleshooting, electrical systems, and automation.
- Assist supervisors and engineering teams with equipment assessments and improvement projects.
- Help standardize maintenance procedures and documentation.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and high-voltage protocols.
- Ensure maintenance activities meet electrical, operational, and environmental standards.
