Roofing Installer

Location: Davison

C&L Ward, one of the nation's top exterior remodeling companies and an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor, is seeking skilled and hardworking Crew Members/Crew Leads for our roofing installation team. As part of our award- winning roofing division, you will play a key role in delivering the exceptional craftsmanship and customer experience that C&L Ward is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and replace roofing systems-primarily Owens Corning asphalt shingles-following manufacturer specifications and C&L Ward workmanship standards

• Safely remove existing roofing materials and prepare job sites for installation

• Measure, cut, and fit roofing components with precision and attention to detail

• Ensure all work aligns with Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor requirements and quality expectations

• Utilize hand tools, power tools, ladders, harnesses, and safety equipment appropriately

• Maintain a clean, professional, and organized job site representing the C&L Ward brand

• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors

• Identify roof or structural issues and report them to the Crew Leader or Project Manager

• Assist with loading, unloading, staging, and inventorying roofing materials

• Follow all OSHA safety regulations and C&L Ward safety procedures

• Complete required paperwork or digital documentation as needed for job tracking and reporting

Qualifications

• Roofing installation experience required

• Ability to work safely at heights and on steep-slope roofs for extended periods

• Understanding of roofing systems, tear-off processes, underlayment, flashing, and ventilation best practices is a plus

• Ability to lift 50-75lbs routinely

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required

• Must pass background check

• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to delivering quality craftsmanship

• Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions

• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced installers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• Weekends as needed
