Industrial Electrician | Plainwell, MI

Salary Range: $59,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and control circuits.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial electrical equipment.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical wiring, conduit, and control panels.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Calibrate and test electrical instruments and control devices, including PLCs.
• Adhere strictly to all electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E) and safety regulations.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and restore electrical services promptly.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical control systems (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs).
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E) and safety protocols, including LOTO.
• Ability to read, interpret, and modify electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and calibration of electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with HMI/SCADA programming and development.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and calibrating industrial instrumentation.
• Robotics troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP PM or Maximo.
