Senior Diesel Mechanics/Technicians

Location: 24200 Bell Rd, New Boston, MI 48164

Pay: $22.00 – $33.00 per hour

Shift: Tuesday – Saturday (Tuesday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Complete quality preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on all company‑owned equipment, including tractors, trailers, refrigerated units and support equipment.

• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment according to OEM, DOT, Swift, and other specifications.
• Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform minor and/or complex repairs for all equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, and re‑assemble heavy truck and trailer components, including refrigerated units, diesel engines, transmissions, axles, and other systems.
• Perform tire maintenance, including repairs, failure analysis, coding, and identification.

• 3+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance, with on‑the‑job training or a diploma from a vocational or trade school.
• High school diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Demonstrated superior customer service skills.
• Ability to read and understand repair manuals and complete repair orders.
• Ability to use and learn various diagnostic software used on tractor/trailers.
