Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team! In this role, you will perform diagnostics, service, and installation of plumbing in residential, multi-family, and light commercial environments. Our company does a large range of jobs specializing in carpet cleaning and plumbing. You may be required to help on other jobs, including manual labor such as digging up underground pipe, transporting bags of cement, and working as a team.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment
• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters, or fixtures such as sinks and toilets, using hand or power tools
• Plan the layout of plumbing, using drawings
• Perform maintenance of water supply systems
• Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems
• Professionally interact with customers and clearly communicate work orders and statuses
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid Plumbing License
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
• OSHA certification or willingness to undergo safety training
• Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
• Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends, alternating weeks
