Security Officer - Shipping

Position: Security Officer - Shipping Company
Location: Lake Orion

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.;
Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobby points by checking identification, issuing temporary credentials, managing visitor and contractor logs, and directing drivers to designated areas.;
Monitor inbound and outbound freight activity by verifying appointments and documentation, coordinating with site contacts, and reporting irregularities per post orders.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying Allied Universal supervision and site leadership as required.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
