Security Officer - Part Time

Position: Security Officer - Part Time Afternoons
Location: Carleton

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout offices, studios, data and equipment areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and policy concerns;
Monitor access control points and screening processes, including checking identification, managing visitor logs, issuing temporary badges as directed, and directing deliveries to designated locations;
Monitor cameras, alarms, and communication systems, respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or public responders per post orders;
Document patrols, access activity, and incidents using written reports and/or electronic systems, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site stakeholders during shift transitions
