Job DescriptionAs a Security Professional – Dispatch Driver in Benton Harbor, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security‑related operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing communications, dispatching personnel, and supporting incident response to help to deter security‑related incidents.
This is a driving position, so a valid driver license is required. You will deliver exceptional customer service while working in an environment that values teamwork, integrity, and a people‑first approach.

- Monitor and respond to incoming communications, alarms, and requests for assistance from personnel throughout the manufacturing and industrial location.
- Coordinate the dispatch of security‑related personnel and resources during incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
- Document and report all communications, incidents, and activities according to site‑specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.
- Assist in managing access control for the facility by verifying credentials and providing instructions to visitors, contractors, and employees as needed.
- Support regular and random patrols by maintaining communication with patrolling personnel and tracking their status throughout the location.
- Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to relay information regarding incidents, hazards, or unusual activities.
- Provide customer service to clients and site employees by carrying out security‑related procedures and supporting emergency response activities as instructed.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of site‑specific policies, emergency procedures, and communication protocols relevant to the manufacturing and industrial environment.
- Supervisory experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
