Are you a seasoned loan officer with a proven track record of success in the mortgage industry? Do you thrive in building relationships, meeting clients and real estate professionals face-to-face, and having control over closing transactions? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as an Outside Mortgage Loan Originator.
Responsibilities- Client Acquisition:
Generate a thriving book of self-generated business and proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the local market. Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral partners. - Loan Origination:
Guide clients through the loan application process, offering expert advice and assistance. Analyze financial information to determine loan eligibility and present various loan options to clients. - Networking:
Attend industry events, community functions, and networking opportunities to enhance your professional connections. Actively participate in local organizations to increase visibility and generate business leads. Maintain a robust pipeline of loan applications while ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients. - Collaboration & Customer Service:
Collaborate with internal teams to expedite the loan approval and closing process. Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the loan process, ensuring a positive experience for clients. Address client concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a loan officer with a successful track record.
- Active NMLS license and knowledge of current industry regulations.
- Proven ability to generate and close mortgage loans.
- Strong understanding of loan programs and products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using loan origination software and Microsoft Office suite.
