Essential Job Functions

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    Independently source and qualify new business leads through outbound efforts (cold-calling, networking, referrals, industry events, etc.) with minimal lead support from marketing. Leverage Linked In Sales Navigator to enhance prospecting efforts and broaden reach to targeted clients.
  • Sales Strategy Execution:
    Develop and execute a strategic plan to target and win new clients within assigned territories or verticals.
  • Pipeline Management:
    Build, manage, and close a robust pipeline of opportunities. Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue targets.
  • Consultative Selling:
    Understand prospects' pain points, present tailored MSP solutions, and establish value based on customer needs.
  • Presentation and Proposal Development:
    Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that address client needs and showcase the benefits of our services.
  • Contract Negotiation and Closing:
    Skillfully negotiate terms and close new business deals.
  • Industry Awareness:
    Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to effectively position our services.
  • Reporting and CRM:
    Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline status in the CRM system. Provide regular updates to leadership on progress toward sales targets.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills, with experience in cold-calling and networking.
  • Proficiency in Linked In Sales Navigator to enhance prospecting capabilities and lead generation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities; able to engage senior-level executives and deliver value-driven pitches.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, with a proactive approach to managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
  • Goal-oriented, competitive, and motivated by uncapped earning potential. Enjoys a fast-paced, autonomous work environment and demonstrates resilience in the face of rejection.
Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years in outside sales, preferably within the MSP or IT services industry, with a strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
