Dollar General - - Responsibilities:
Assist Store Manager in managing the Perishable Departments including produce, fresh meat, packaged meats, dairy, frozen food, bread, and bakery products.;
Maintain correct perishable stock levels and assist in training associates;
Record Perishable Markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences;
Train associates in proper grading, stocking, and merchandising of perishable products;
Ensure sanitation standards and compliance with food handling rules
