We are looking for merchandisers to work independently across various retail locations, showcasing organization and time management skills to display and maintain inventory of our celebrations product, including greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush and more.

• The starting pay is $14.00 per hour with two increases during the first year of employment (rates subject to change based on work location).
• After 6 months of employment the pay rate will increase to $14.80.
• After 1 year of continued employment the pay rate will increase to $15.50.

This route services multiple retail locations at: 950 Edelweiss Pkwy, Gaylord, MI 49735; 3075 Old Hwy 27 S; 1000 S Otsego Ave; 6098 N Old 27, Frederic, MI; 2303 S I 75 Business Loop, Grayling, MI; 6966 W M-72 Hwy, Grayling, MI; and 685 S I 75 Business Loop, Grayling, MI. The weekly average hours are 10 hours per week and may increase to an average of 15 hours per week around holidays.

• Ideal candidate would be available during daytime hours, specifically Monday mornings, due to store needs and service.

• Service stores on the assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders, displaying product within greeting card departments and other retail locations, maintaining organized backroom areas, and other inventory tasks as needed.
• Communicate with management any questions or concerns regarding service or schedules.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with effective time management and organizational skills.
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime retail business hours.
• Be available for additional working days and extended hours leading up to and following major holidays.
• Provide occasional assistance with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as requested.
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload in assigned stores using a company-issued tablet.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple retail locations
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates
• Technological competency to learn and use company-provided tablet for training and daily tasks
• Meet scheduling needs, including occasional weekends and days before/after major holidays (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

Work on the sales floor and in the back stock area. Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and fixtures up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and squat during the workday. A stepstool may be used for some tasks.
