With moderate supervision, the Retail Keyholder assists the store management team in executing and supervising all store activities. The position ensures products are easily accessible, boosts sales through product knowledge, maintains a clean and organized environment, and fosters guest loyalty and repeat business.

• Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests promptly, respond to questions or concerns courteously, assist in meeting video gaming needs, inform about promotions, recommend items, apply selling behaviors during each transaction, and express gratitude.
• Support the overall shopping environment, nurture guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business.
• Process purchases and returns accurately via the POS computer system.
• Address guest comments or questions in person or on the phone, answering calls promptly and professionally.
• Promote Game Stop’s guest benefits, such as the reservation program and the Pro Rewards loyalty program.
• Ensure all store areas, including restrooms, are clean, organized, and merchandised according to guidelines.
• Complete daily Omni-Channel orders.
• Safeguard company assets through effective inventory control and loss prevention practices.
• Conduct store inventory counts, stock merchandise on shelves and fixtures, and move products to the front of the store.
• Support store management in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete required administrative duties.
• Count, balance, and reconcile daily business transaction totals accurately in the POS system.
• Check shipments for discrepancies or shortages and record any discrepancies in the POS system.
• Process defectives/recalls, and stock pulls accurately and promptly.
• Visually inspect associates’ packages and belongings at store closing or at the end of a shift.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates in the absence of management.
• Consistently adhere to Game Stop policies and procedures.
• Follow all opening and closing procedures.
• Observe associate performance and provide timely and appropriate feedback to store management.

• Proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to work alone, stand, and move throughout the store unassisted for up to 10 hours per day.

• Follow instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Deliver bank deposits following loss prevention safety guidelines.
• Work a flexible schedule, including extended hours/days as necessary, including nights, weekends, and some holidays. Minimum of 3 days/week availability.
• Remain effective under pressure and handle stress in a manner acceptable to others and the organization.
• Bend, stoop, reach with arms/hands, climb ladders, and lift merchandise weighing up to 30 lbs. from ground level to a minimum height of 4 feet.
• Stand and move throughout the store unassisted to provide guest service or perform tasks in any part of the store for up to 10 hours per day.
