Overall Job Summary

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute "start to finish" tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member interacts with customers and Team Members, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
• Communicate proactively with the District FAST Supervisor about work completion and issues.
• Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store measurements.
• Complete cycle counts and the Tractor Way top cap process.
• Hang store signage and assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Review planogram integrity and deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Ask to add value.
• Ensure customers have a memorable shopping experience.
• Provide peak coverage during special events (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required; farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work independently.

Working Conditions

• Primarily indoor environment with moderate noise; outdoor work may involve hard surfaces and outdoor lots.
• Shifts vary, generally no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours.
• Travel between store locations using personal vehicle is required.
• Adherence to safety guidelines is mandatory.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel as needed.
• Lift and move merchandise up to 50 pounds; push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
• Stand, kneel, reach overhead, and operate store equipment.
• Complete all documentation accurately and communicate effectively.
• Operate store equipment safely and effectively.
