Cashier​/Food Service Worker

Job Summary

Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and keeps the coffee and cashier stations clean.

Schedule:

Full time;
Sunday through Saturday. Open and close shifts available. Further details will be provided upon interview.

• Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts; assist with catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
• Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Cashier according to established procedures, maintaining cash accuracy with receipts. Make deposits at the end of each shift.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up serving line, ensuring temperatures are taken, recorded and within acceptable ranges; notify cooks if food temperatures are not within acceptable limits.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Set up items for purchase on a daily basis.
• Keep refrigerator stocked and rotate products using the first in, first out rule.
• Stock pantries with correct par levels of food items on a daily basis; record replenished amounts on floor stock form; record refrigerator temperatures daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous food service or customer service experience preferred.
• Serv Safe certification preferred.

Pay Range: $15.50-$16.50 per hour.
