Overview

We are hiring immediately for a part time COOK position.

• Location
  :
  Cranbrook Schools - 39221 Woodward Avenue, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304. Online applications accepted only.
• Schedule
  :
  Part time schedule. Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 am - 7:00 pm. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement
  :
  Previous cooking experience is required. Must be able to follow recipes and use kitchen equipment.

• Fixed Pay Rate
  : $18.50 per hour.

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring correct temperature and attractive presentation. Tastes all prepared food items.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat. Stores or discards excess food per safe food-handling procedures.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
• Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings. Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• Performs duties safely to maintain a clean, safe work environment. Performs other duties as assigned.
• Follows HACCP standards for proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Abides by all Company policies and procedures including safety and equipment handling guidelines.

• Valid for the role:
  Previous cooking experience required.
• Ability to follow recipes and operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Capable of working Saturday and Sunday shifts as stated.
