Prep Cook; On Call

Overview

We are hiring immediately for on call PREP COOK positions.

Location:

Lake City Area Schools - 710 East Mitchell, Lake City, MI 49651.

Schedule:

On call schedule. 7:00 am - 2:00 pm. Days may vary; further details upon interview.

Pay Range: $13.73 per hour to $15.00 per hour. Perks:

• Prepares food according to production sheets, quantities, and recipes.
• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Completes daily production worksheets and waste logs; tastes meals to ensure quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels, and dates all food items; follows HACCP guidelines.
• Completes required documentation and reports; complies with health and sanitation regulations.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation time; serves customers efficiently and cheerfully.
• Resolves customer concerns and performs other duties as assigned.

• Previous prep cook experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to train.
• On-call availability with varied days; details provided at interview.
