Job Purpose

To ensure high standard of nutrition, efficiency, cleanliness and friendliness in the implementation of food services.

Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food service
  • Interest in and understanding of children and adolescents
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assists in the preparation and serving of all food in the cafeteria and community as required.
  • Assumes responsibility for seeing to it that during meal service periods the supply of food offered is replenished regularly.
  • Assists in the daily cleaning of kitchen, serving, storage and dining areas.
  • Assists in supervising the work of the cafeteria employees.
  • Assists in instructing new cafeteria employees in performing their assigned tasks.
  • Assumes responsibility for Head Cook duties during absence of Head Cook.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Possess good communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously with staff, students and parents. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, willingness to learn, focus on excellent customer service. Collaboration with others.
