Research Scientist, Clinical Research, Research Assistant/Associate

Overview
Position Summary:
Assist in coordinating research and field operations in order to meet research goals. Complete drone flights in accordance with research plan(s). Compile and summarize results and participate in preparing reports, manuscripts, and articles for publication. Review of work of research technicians and student employees. Oversee field needs and order materials, supplies, and equipment. Operate, calibrate, and maintain field instruments and equipment to ensure proper functioning, accuracy, and compliance with written specifications.
Review relevant literature to maintain current knowledge of research methods and terminology.
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Science, Computer Science or other related science fields; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in standard laboratory procedures and safety requirements and performing analytical and research techniques in an area related to research being performed such as cow calf operation;
or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The position requires special licensing or certification in FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
