Key Responsibilities- Perform dimensional and visual inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
- Utilize various precision measuring instruments and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
- Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances and corrective actions.
- Initiate and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and assist in root cause analysis.
- Maintain and calibrate quality control equipment and gauges according to established schedules.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Collaborate with production personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality control methodologies (e.g., SPC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying non-conformances and performing root cause analysis.
- Excellent documentation and report writing skills for maintaining accurate quality records.
- Experience with CMM programming or operation.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., Yellow Belt certification).
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab).
- Previous experience conducting internal quality audits.
