Quality Technician - DeWitt Area

Salary Range: $48,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

• Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections of materials and products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive quality records.
• Identify, tag, and report non-conforming materials or products and initiate corrective action requests.
• Collaborate with production personnel to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• Conduct calibration and maintenance of inspection and test equipment.
• Assist in root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• High School Diploma or GED;
  Associate's degree in a technical discipline preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Basic understanding of quality control principles, inspection methods, and root cause analysis

• Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Experience conducting internal quality system audits (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge.
