Quality System Engineer

Required Education

• High school Diploma / GED
• Minimum of two years related experience/training.
• Must have a good knowledge of the English language.
• Excellent communication
• Must be able to develop schedules.
• Must have knowledge of document control processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of customer specific requirements
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 1694

• Ensure that work instructions are current, at the right revision level, maintained and available at the point of use.
• Assist other departments in setting up files and work instructions related to the QMS.
• Maintain QS software and update as required.
• Follow up on internal problem reports
• Maintain status of corrective actions, both internal and external
• Ensure latest revisions of forms are used for all customer-related paperwork.
• Compile and lead monthly quality management review.
• Create monthly layered process audits.
• Develop questions for audits.
• Update charts and tracking for weekly and monthly KPI charts.
• Train new and current employees in how to do layered process audits.
• Control all documents that could influence the quality of the product.
• Lead the Quality portion of the Martinrea Orientation Module
• Run reports and check customer portals daily.
