Your roleAs a Quality Assurance Technician, your mission is to be responsible for managing the gage calibration system. You will report to Quality Assurance Supervisor.
You will- Manage all aspects of the gage calibration system
- Leads gage R&R activity for new and existing gages
- Enter requisitions in Syspro for required services and other QA supplies
- Track inventory of lab supplies needed for the equipment lab and rivet ops met labs
- Access customer websites to retrieve customer scorecards when they are available and summarizes the data
- Perform inventory movement transactions in Syspro
- Assists the Quality Engineers and Supervisor when required
- Create work instructions when required
- Support the Quality department with record scanning
- Support compliance with ISO
9001/IATF
16949 and customer specific requirements - Other related duties as required by the Quality Engineers or Quality Assurance Manager
- Reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, Specialist or Engineer

- 1-year experience performing gage calibrations and using gage calibration software desired
- Working knowledge of quality systems
- Skills with Windows and MS Office applications
- Experience with QDA and Syspro a plus
- Team oriented with a positive attitude
- Must maintain professional behavior in all situations
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, good interpersonal skills
- Organized, with excellent attention to detail. Self-motivated with ability to prioritize assignments
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required
- Some periodic lifting (under 20 pounds) will be necessary.
