As a Registered Nurse in the ICU Med Surg specialty, you will perform a variety of integrated pre and post-operative critical care functions. You will intuitively use the nursing process while applying a broad nursing knowledge in a caring, concerned manner. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing patients for physical, emotional, psych/social, and family support needs
• Organizing and coordinating all aspects of patient care according to the patient's real and/or perceived needs
• Evaluating patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge to determine if goals are being met according to the patient's plan of care or clinical path
• Consulting and collaborating with members of the healthcare team in planning and implementing total patient care for individuals

Requirements for this role include:

• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Open Heart Trained
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• Epic EMR Experience preferred
• Prior Travel Assignment History preferred
• Active Michigan RN License
