Travel Nurse - Clio, Michigan

A unique opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room procedures to support surgical teams in the Clio, MI area. This travel nursing position offers rewarding challenges across multiple specialties including Orthopedics, Vascular, Neurosurgery, General/Gynecology, and Urology, making it ideal for RNs with a strong clinical background and trauma expertise.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an RN in an Operating Room setting
• Level 2 Trauma certification or equivalent experience required
• Proficiency in Ortho, Vascular, Neuro, General/Gyn, and Urology surgeries
• Recent travel nursing experience is highly preferred
• Valid Michigan RN license
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification
• Able to provide two supervisory references within the last two years
• Residency outside a 50-mile radius of the facility is required due to local candidate restrictions

Job Type: Travel assignment with 3 shifts of 12 hours each per week
Schedule/Hours:

• 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in high-acuity cases
• Maintain sterility and patient safety standards throughout operative processes
• Monitor patients' status before, during, and after surgery, applying trauma and specialty-specific protocols
