A skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a travel assignment in Flushing, MI, covering Saginaw, MI.

This role offers a rewarding opportunity to apply specialized surgical nursing skills across several disciplines within a Level 2 trauma setting. The assignment consists of three 12-hour days per week, providing a structured yet balanced schedule for the right professional.

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in the Operating Room
• Level 2 Trauma experience required
• Proficiency in Orthopedic, Vascular, Neurosurgery, General Surgery/Gynecology, and Urology procedures
• Recent travel nursing experience is highly preferred
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Active Michigan RN license
• Must comply with facility scheduling policies; all scheduling requests must be submitted with the initial application
• Candidates must reside beyond a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary OR environment
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during procedures
• Maintain compliance with trauma and surgical protocols
• Provide support and mentorship to junior staff as needed
• Engage in preoperative and postoperative patient assessments and documentation
