LPN Med Surg – Corewell Health

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our 13‑bed Med Surg unit with overflow into ICU. The unit is Stroke Certified. We treat our patients as part of our family. We offer flexibility in scheduling and maintain a nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:5 during the day and up to 1:6 at night.

Under the direction of the RN/Mid‑level Provider/Physician and in collaboration with other members of the health care team, you will contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. You will inform patients and families about treatments, medications, and equipment used, and document care via computer or written patient records in accordance with guidelines.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a Practical Nursing program from an approved school.
• MI license for Practical Nursing (LPN) required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
