Responsibilities

Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan is a state of the art 72-bed facility. Cedar Creek provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults with mental health issues. We invest in our patients by offering an integrated medicine approach with therapies including yoga, mindfulness, aromatherapy, music therapy, and nutrition. We are seeking qualified applicants for a Registered Nurse (RN) position.

This position is a temporary assignment for 16 weeks on 12-hour shifts, with the possibility of extension for up to 6 months. It is not eligible for benefit programs; we offer a premium pay rate of $70 per hour. This is for someone with psychiatric experience. Current employees of UHS are not eligible.

• Complete nurse-to-nurse assessment with other facilities and communicate with Internal Medicine as needed.
• Complete internal nursing assessments.
• Be competent in assessing, planning, and delivering care for patients with co-occurring disorders.
• Continuously assess and reassess patients’ medical and psychiatric status and changing needs.
• Participate with other team members in planning and implementing patients’ treatment plans.
• Work with both adult and adolescent populations.

Full time: three 12‑hour shifts per week, 7 pm to 7:30 am for night shift, with every‑other weekend rotation.
