Registered Nurse – ACU Cardiac Cath Lab
Reporting to the Director of Cardiac Services or designated supervisors and charge nurses. Performs initial assessment appropriate to the patient’s scheduled procedure, clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age, developmental level, and cultural/religious orientation in a timely manner. Initiates discharge planning for each patient upon admission as appropriate. Identifies the need for further assessment based on the patient’s clinical presentation/diagnosis and tolerance of diagnostic testing or scheduled procedure.

• Two (2) years’ experience in an operating room, telemetry unit, or critical care unit in an acute care facility
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing Program
• Current California RN license (maintained)
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification (maintained)
• ACLS certification (maintained)
