Villa At Rose City is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team! The CNA assists patients/residents with activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, eating, grooming, toileting and exercising.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with nursing staff under direction of Director of Nursing or CNA Supervisor.
  • Provide physical support for patients/resident daily activities and personal hygiene.
  • Assist patients with daily medication and supplements.
  • Ensure proper resident/patient diet based on dietary restrictions.
  • Examine patients for open wounds, bruises, or blood in urine.
  • Note and communicate patient/resident behavior and changes in mood.
  • Clean rooms and bed linens.
  • Check and record vital signs under supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Answer patient calls and needs.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Qualifications and Skills
  • Good collaboration and teamwork skills with nursing staff.
  • Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for medical conditions.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn company applications.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • State Certified Nursing Assistant License/Certification.
  • Must be CPR Certified.
Physical Requirements
  • Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling; ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, with or without aid of mechanical devices is required.
  • Must be able to push, pull move and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
  • May assist in evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
  • Meet all health requirements as needed.
